Cookies are small text files websites save to your browser. Here's how MinSahib uses them.
1. Essential (Required) Cookies
Without these the site can't work; active for every visitor:
- Session (
auth_session): remembers your login state, 30 days, HttpOnly+Secure - Language (
NEXT_LOCALE): your chosen language (TR/AR/EN), 1 year - Cookie consent (
cookie_consent): remembers your banner preference - CSRF protection: short-lived token for form submission
These contain no personal data and require no consent (legal exemption).
2. Analytics Cookies (Consent Required)
Loaded only when you click "Accept" in the banner:
- Yandex Metrica (
_ym_*): visitor count, popular pages, session duration — optimal for Russia/Turkey/MENA - Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_gid): similar stats — setup pending
These are anonymized statistics. Declining hides stats from us; site works normally.
3. Third-Party Cookies
- Cloudflare Turnstile (only on register/login forms): bot protection, no user tracking
- Supabase Storage (image CDN): asset files, no tracking
4. Local Storage
Not cookies but stored in your browser:
- "Recently viewed listings" (12 items) — stays in your browser, not sent to server
- Notification read state cache
5. How to Manage
Via banner:
- First visit: "Accept" / "Decline" / "Preferences"
- Always reopenable from the footer
Via browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Clearing all cookies logs you out
6. Browser Extensions
uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, AdBlock etc. already block analytics cookies — no conflict with us.
7. Changes
When new cookie types are added, this page is updated and the banner is shown again.
